Self Portrait
Astute listeners may notice that Actualize is an interpolation of one my first songs, As the Light Goes By. Pablo Picasso has a series of self-portraits. They mark his artistic journey and health throughout his life. I can't think of anything quite similar for musicians. I chose to reimage As the Light Goes By to achieve this. Like measuring yourself to the same door frame.
