HOG

Take me from my handpicked planet, steal me from my nature's own

The Neolithic Era is when humans abandoned the hunter-gatherer lifestyle and began farming. From there, mankind developed an unquenchable hunger for more. To have to more. To grasp onto possessions. We kill to protect what is ours and take what is not. We learned to own land, objects, and people.

This song is about two hogs stolen from the forest, and domesticated on the farm. In Orwellian fashion, these hogs burn the farm down, eat the farmers, and return to their lives.

Who is farmer Billy?

There are billionaires rapidly buying up the arable land in America. They say history doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme.

It's shaping up to be neo-feudalistic society should the plutocracy continue. Then again, with the rate of environmental damage we inflict on our mother Earth, Billy might have bought a dust bowl.
