SIREN'S CALL
Why Obsess Over Beaches?
This song is about the greek myth of the Sirens; beautiful creatures that lure sailors to their death. "To the right" and "to the left" are commandments from the Siren to the Sailor, ending with "hit the ground"

This song is part of my exploration with line dances. I really want to make a proper line dance. The type that gets played at weddings and everyone rushes to the dance floor.

Many of my favorite songs are PSAs in disguise. Music can be such a useful tool in teaching the next generation of listeners. With Siren's Call I wanted to make my PSA:

Gentleman, don't be controlled by your genitals. Capitalism, social media, marketing, and peer pressure can instill a thirst for sexuality. Listen to that sirens and you'll run yourself aground.

Not everyone wants what's best for you. Not every pretty face comes with a pretty soul.

The composition of this song occurred during my first experimentation with psychedelic mushrooms. I went out in to nature with a little desk and my laptop. I also spent some time looking at the trees and crying. I love trees.
